The top rank player of the world’s top club team had a sometimes shocking, sometimes embarrassing miss in a lot of unbelievable misses in football.

On Saturday, May 14, 2011 against Stuttgart in the last game of the season, Arjen Robben made a fast run and set up Klose with a nice opportunity to tap in a goal from right in front of an empty net. At that point Klose was little away in the middle of the goal but he had miss is near to impossibility, he went inside the goal line alright, but not with the ball, who flew high over the bar. That was close, Klose.

Americans Peter A. Diamond and Dale T. Mortensen and Cyprus-born Christopher A. Pissarides, who together developed a theory of search markets such as those in which employers seek to fill vacancies and job seekers search for employment.

They developed a theoretical framework known as the Diamond-Mortensen-Pissarides (DMP) model, which became widely used in labour-market analysis. The model describes the search activity of the unemployed, the methods by which firms recruit and formulate wages, and the effects of economic policies and regulation, such as levels of unemployment benefits and rules on hiring and firing, on labour markets.

Shuvo Roy has a PhD in electrical engineering but his experimental handiwork may give the world its first implantable artificial kidney, a potential alternative to dialysis and transplants for patients with end-stage kidney failure.

The bioengineering specialist of Indian origin at the University of California, San Francisco, has demonstrated the feasibility of an implantable kidney in animals, and hopes to refine the coffee cup-sized prototype for clinical trials in humans in about five years.

Free Softwares to College Students by Microsoft

 

As Microsoft and Autodesk  Autodesk signed an agreement with the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) to provide free software to over 10,000 engineering and architectural institutes in the country. Moorthy Uppaluri, general manager, Microsoft India said that this will provide access to software to millions of students who design projects as part of their curricula and otherwise. The softwares like Window phone, visual Studio,
 Explorer-9 will be freely available via the AICTE website.Joe Astroth, chief education officer of Autodesk, US said that this is an investment they are making to expand their reach in the country. “This will benefit over 10,000 institutes in India to design several models ranging from automobiles to 3-D animation. It will also expand our business in India in future.& rdquo; AICTE chairman S.S. Mantha said the softwares will be readily available to institutes from Friday onwards but students can access them individually within two months.

'Empowerment is needed at school level. We are empowering few at the high end but if we give these technologies to the school children, it will be more beneficial,' Sibal said after signing of the Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs).
