BET Awards 2011 Nominees

Nominees for the BET award 2011were announced in April. The award ceremony scheduled to air live from Shrine Auditorium, LA on the BET channel on June 26, 2011 at 8 pm.

Black Entertainment Television-BET has established the BET award ceremony since 2001. Award is celebrated African Americans and other minorities in acting, music, sports and many other categories of entertainment over the past year.

BET Awards 2011 Nominees 

Kevin Hart is hosting the awards this year. Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Beyonce and others will show their performances during the live broadcasting of the Award function.

Chris Brown has six nominations this year for Best male R&B artist, Video of the year, viewer choice and Best actor for his role in the thriller ‘Takers.’

I Wanna Go - Official Music Video/Review/Lyrics

The official music video ‘I Wanna Go’ by Britney Spears from her seventh studio album ‘Femme Fatale’ released on June 22, 2011 on MTV and Vevo. The song is Hi-NRG dance pop with whistled melody.

The song’s digital version topped the US Billboard Hot 100, South Korean International chart and Canadian Hot 100. The song has received mixed review, some praised the track and some called it not good as Briteny’s other hit songs.

Shellback, Max Martin and Savan Kotecha was writer of the song ‘I Wanna Go’ while Martin and Shelback were produced it. The music video was directed by Chris Marrs Pilier and Los Angeles, California.

In this new song Spears sings about losing inhibitions. ‘The New York Times’ said that Britney Spears sings about -the scrum that surrounds her- in ‘Lately people got me all tied up / There's a countdown waiting for me to erupt’.

CMT Music Awards 2011 - The Performances and Highlights

The CMT Music Awards 2011 were held at the Bridgestone Arena on June 8, 2011. In full lights many stars shows performances in light mood.

Big three awards of the night, Best Video, Best Male and Best Female Video of the Year, respectively won by Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.

Jason Aldean performed for the new version of his new single ‘Dirt Road Anthem’, when Antebellum performed their USA Top ten super hit ‘Just A Kiss’. And the best moment of the CMT ceremony was ‘Love The Way You Lie’, The Band Perry’s cover. But highlight of the ceremony was when Shania Twain suffered an perplexing tumble while announcing the Best Male Video award.

Selena Gomez released her latest single ‘Bang Bang Bang’ from her upcoming new album, ‘When the sun goes down’ and ‘Bang Bang Bang’ is a promotional single that’s been released on iTunes in the countdown to her new album.

The single is pop with a soft touch of R&B and stands well on its own merits. The song has good production which no cluttered with noise, music instruments and electronics in the background are well-timed. Its tune is pleasant.

Olly Murs – New X Factor Host – Profile and Biography

Olly Murs has been signed as co-host for eighth series of ‘Xtra Factor’. He was runner-up of sixth series of X Factor in 2009.

In 2009 Murs was auditioned for The X Factor. He was performing ‘Superstition’ by Stevie Wonder. Murs reached in the final on December 12, 2009 and again he singing ‘Superstition’ and also singing with Robbie Williams on his hit song ‘Angels’. And he came second to Joe McElderry. Olly Murs was performed on ‘The X Factor’ Live tour, with several other X Factor finalists.

Olly Murs was born on 14 May 1984 in Essex, England. His parent is Vicky and Peter Murs. He is brother of twin named Ben and a sister, Fay. Murs was a star striker in the Notley High School in Braintree’s football team.

Manchester United’s supporter Murs worked as an energy advisor in a call Aid for charity prior to ‘The X Factor’. And earlier he also appeared on the TV show ‘Deal or No Deal’.

After he achieved second place on ‘The X Factor’ in early 2010he was signed to ‘Syco Music’ and ‘Epic Records’. And he began recording his debut album ‘Olly Murs’ after X Factor Finalists tour.

Album ‘Olly Murs’ was released in November 2010 and his first single "Please Don't Let Me Go" released on August, 2010 and then charted at number one on the UK Singles Chart and his second official single "Thinking of Me" was charted at number four on the UK Singles Charts. After all ‘Olly Murs ‘ was charted at number two on the UK Albums Chart.

And now it was confirmed Olly Murs would be co- presenting the eighth series of The Xtra Factor alongside Caroline Flack.

‘The Edge of Glory’ is a third official single from Lady Gaga’s album ‘Born this Way’, which written by Gaga, Fernando Gribay and DJ White Shadow. This single was released on 9th May, 2011 as digitally and on May 17, 2011 on US radio.

‘The Edge of Glory’ going on number two on Hot Digital Songs chart and at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming Lady Gaga’s 10th consecutive top ten single in the USA.

Dance Ke Superstars Finale Video

“Dance Ke Superstars” is the 5th season of the Dance India Dance series. It was aired on Zee TV network. . This show’s producer was UTV Software Communications and features choreographer was Shiamak Davar. The show is judged by Shiamak Davar and features a guest judge every week.

Here being competion with contestants of season 1 against contestants of season 2 and also few contestants from Dance India Dance Little Masters. Manish Paul was show’s host.
In Dance Ke Superstars grand finale awards were given for best group dance, individual performance and for other categories.
For finale team Jalwa performed Freestyle Group Dance on the song “Woh Sikandar Hi” and Team Josh performed a Garba Group Dance. Here result was very deserving team Jalwa from DID Season 2 won.
