Collecting contributions and spending them on political influence activities without making sure that all legal requirements are fulfilled is a dangerous endeavour. I hope you have everything set up the right way so you don't run afoul of the law (fixing retrogression is not going to do you any good if you are fighting a federal wire-fraud indictment at the time of your adjustment interview).

Lets take a step back and look at the income of the org till now. As we have displayed on the website, we have collected USD30,000.
Consider that there are 5 board of directors of this org. These guys are all well settled in their jobs and earn a decent living.....but hey here is $6K for each of them now :). Of course they will do a 'wire fraud' for this USD 6k after all this 6K will buy them a new house and a mercedes...right? Who cares about felony, 6K can change anyones life....wouldn't you hadron be willing to spend a year in prison for 6k? Sounds tempting right? Oh wait, but the amount is not really 6K since we have hired QGA. Dang, there goes the dream of owning a beach house with a mercedes!
To think of something like this is not just ludicrous, its downright insulting....instead of encouraging folks who have taken upon themselves to do something about it, you are hell bent on spreading malice and sowing seeds of doubt in everyone's mind! We very well know what we are doing and we are doing so in a 100% legal manner.
Forget about us, do you think a firm as reputed as QGA would want to associate themselves with an org like us if we were not legit? Think again! Some of the folks who had gone to DC (on personal expenses, mind you)to have a preliminary discussion with QGA actually met Mr. Jack Quinn who used to be a legal counsel to Bill Clinton...do you think he has time to meet crooks who don't know a word about law and are doing something illegal? I keep on repeating myself, but if you go to the website, you will see Mr. Rajeev Khanna's email endorsing us. We actually met him in DC too. He has put a link to our website. Same with Attorney Matthew Oh. And how about Dr. Richard Florida? What are the odds of him endorsing an organization which is 100% illegal and committing a wire fraud? The answer is very obvious

What he/she is doing is legal. Unless this offer involved payment for labor substituion, in which case its illegal. But good luck trying to prove it. Ever heard of wage kickbacks?

My only hope is this guy/gal gets his/her employer to use his/her own lawyer instead of company lawyer so that he has control over his case. Otherwise, this guy/gal will be in more pathetic condition than everyone who goes thru 3-4 years of retrogression.

Its beyond me, why would EB3 go back to 2001 when new numbers will be available beginning Oct 07. Disappointed and mad
No surprises for me at least. There will be only 816 new EB3 visas available for any country in October. This will move the dates at the most by a month or two and this will continue for ever until a new legislation is passed, that is why DC rally is all the more important and everyone should focus on that to bring in a change.
For folks wondering how I came to the 816 visa number
Total GC available = 140000
7% country limit = 9800
split for EB3 = 3266
spread for each qtr = 816

i read on some lawyers website that everytime he/she's filed an AC21 letter to show change of jobs he's gotten an RFE for the petitioner.
so that is why many lawyers recommend against sending any notification to USCIS regarding job change using AC21.
Going back to the supplemental AC21 memo:
Imagine an IO who has a very bad mood for the day. Then he receives an AC21 letter for the case he is processing and saw that the i-140 of the person is not yet approved.
And he thought: "Oh....I would raise an RFE for this and see if the previous employer still respond to it".

Congrats suresh..it's good to see Dec 05 getting approved..best option would be to get your wife here on F1..Some of the schools required only TOEFL ..after coming to US get married again in US and apply for 485..if she is currently working in india..u can try L1 too....ofcourse for H-1B u need to wait for one more year..i don't think US embassy in Chennai will get to know u got married unless she tells them..there is no fraud or anything in this..i believe it's like..don't ask, don't say..ur not cheating anyone..trying to find a small loop hole for a very good reason..

My priority date is EB2-I Dec 20'th 2005 and god knows how they approved it much before every one else. When all others really want their GC's.
There are lots people who are in queue with Jan 2004 and later priority dates and whose cases are still pending... How could they approve my case so soon...
I have scheduled for a travel to India on August 15'th 2008 to get married. I wanted to marry and get my wife to USA. I 'm engaged with girl at India and all set for marriage this month (August 2008).
I believe my H1-B has been automatically canceled on immediate approval of GC.
How do I get my future wife to USA?. What are the options left out to me now?.
Please excuse me if this is a duplicate thread. I'm really in hurry and could not check all threads properly.

Sorry to hear about your case.
From what I have heard, you can apply for I485 till your case gets adjudicated. Your PD is Dec 2003. It will easily take 2 to 3 years to get approval. In that time, get your divorce papers, get married, bring your new wife in H4 and apply for her 485. I think you'll be good.
I am not sure what will happen to your ex. You may need to revoke her 485 application. not sure if you can just revoke hers or you need her to sign some application (which she may not be willing to).
Check with an attorney. They should be able give you the best advice.

My H1 is valid till May 2009. I have I140 approved and have got my H1(3 years) till May 2009.
My wife has her own H1b valid till Dec 2008.
